Reserve your spot on a Mono Lake canoe tour

Reservations are now available for this summer’s Mono Lake canoe tours. Tours happen every weekend from mid-June through August and include Labor Day this year, Monday, September 1.

Canoe tours are a wonderful way to experience Mono Lake. Glide through the tufa towers, observe nesting birds, and get a close look at brine shrimp. Let your fingers trail through the salty, slippery water and hear the water lapping at the paddles. An hour spent on the water during a summer morning is a great way to start the day.

The Mono Lake Committee’s naturalist guides will give you an overview of Mono Lake’s fascinating natural, cultural, and political history during the tour. From the millennia of the Kootzaduka’a Tribe’s residence here, to relatively recent volcanic eruptions, to the last century of harmful water diversions, the Mono Lake story has something fascinating for everyone.

Canoe tours happen every Saturday and Sunday at 8:00am, 9:30am, and 11:00am from June 14 through September 1. Tickets are $20 for children ages 4–12 and $35 for adults ages 13+. For more information, visit the canoe tours page or give us a call at (760) 647-6595.
