Tioga Pass has reopened after last week’s stormy weather. We’re having an unseasonably cool and rainy May this year, so Tioga Pass will likely close and reopen several more times depending on the weather. Remember to check road conditions before you travel!
My wife and I were in Yosemite on Sunday. We were surprised to find it open, so enjoyed the day with snow falling several times, at one point heavy near Tuolumne Meadows, at various places. Upon our return to Crane Flat, the eastbound “Closed” barricade was up.
Fun month!
