After a rigorous two weeks of training, the Mono Lake Committee’s seasonal staff members are happily adjusting to life in the beautiful Mono Basin.
With the first canoe tours under our belts after this past weekend, we interns are moving towards our first South Tufa tours. After many study sessions, endless amounts of flashcards, and practice tours amongst each other, all the interns are thoroughly prepared and knowledgeable about the information. If you are interested in grilling us with questions to test just how knowledgeable we really are, feel free to come to a free South Tufa tour any day at 6:00pm and you will likely get a Mono Lake Committee intern!
For many of us, moving to Lee Vining, population 400 or so, was a big jump from the cities we grew up in. Luckily, with concerts at the Mobil, trips to Mono Cone, and admiring the beautiful sunset, we stay very happy and busy.

Who is that happy young woman in the photo?
