For Immediate Release Looking for something fun and different to do this summer? Try the Mono Lake Committee’s Canoe Tours on Mono Lake! Glide through groves of tufa spires, dip your paddle into swarms of brine shrimp, and float alongside diving birds. As the tour moves along Mono Lake’s south shore, your expert guide will explain the natural history of this ancient, life-productive lake. Tours depart every Saturday and Sunday from mid-June through mid-September. Tours cost $15.00 per adult and $6.00 for kids 4-12 years old. Advance reservations are required and may be made by telephone. Special tours may be made for 12 or more people on weekdays with advance notice.
