For Immediate Release

Listen to the great bluegrass music of Rush Creek while watching the sunset over Mono Lake! On Friday, September 4, 1998, help kick off the Mono Lake Committee’s Restoration Days and 20th Anniversary Celebration by joining in the festivities at Guss Hess Park in Lee Vining from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Bring a picnic (no alcohol is allowed at the park) and a blanket or low-back chair and get ready for some fun and dancing

Rush Creek has been together for two years, playing in such venues as Millpond Festival, Mule Days, and at local coffee houses. Members include Dave Herbst, Will Crljenko, Ray Finch, and Charlie Broten. Their music includes traditional and modern bluegrass as well as instrumentals and vocals of favorites, such as the Grateful Dead and Bob Dylan.

Join in the fun for this great evening of music! For more information about the evening or about the other activities being planned for Restoration Days (September 4-7), please phone the Mono Lake Committee at (760) 647-6595, or visit our web page at: www.monolake.org.
