On Friday, July 31, consulting archaeologist, Dr. Michael G. Delacorte will present slides and conversation on recent archeological findings along the U.S. Highway 395 corridor from Owens Valley to the Mono Basin. Dr. Delacorte is a consulting archaeologist with the Far Western Anthropological Research Group and has worked in the Eastern Sierra for more than twenty years. The presentation will be held at the Mono Lake Committee Information Center and Bookstore in Lee Vining at 7:00 P.M., Friday evening, July 31. The presentation is free, and open to the interested public. This presentation is sponsored by CALTRANS.
