Even though this photograph looks like
a Club Med diving adventure, it is
actually a SCUBA team doing research
at Mono Lake. Currently there are at
least 40 ongoing scientific research
projects in the Mono Basin watershed,
including studies of air quality, hydrology,
birds, geology, ecology, and mapping.
