Mono Lake is constantly changing
its
appearance. It was born from fire and
ice, and it’s fascinating to imagine that
during its long history, ice bergs, calving
off of huge glaciers and chunks of pumice
thrown up by volcanic eruptions, have
floated on its surface. This person seems
safe for the moment, but in the grand
scheme of life, nothing remains the same.
