One-time Donations
We gratefully accept one-time donations of any amount.
The Mono Lake Committee is a non-profit 501(c)(3)
organization and donations are tax-deductible to the full
extent of the law. If you make a donation of $25 or more,
you will become a Mono Lake Committee member (if you'd
rather not be a member, just let us know!). Please donate to us
online
through Network for Good (we are listed as "Mono Lake
Foundation"), or contact us to
make your donation.
Bequests
and Endowments
We gratefully accept bequests and endowments. The
following example of general bequest language may be helpful (this is
not legal advice; please consult an attorney): "I give and bequeath to
the Mono Lake Committee, Highway 395 & 3rd St., Lee Vining, CA 93541,
the sum of $____ to be used as its board of directors determines." Other
options include: instructing the Committee to invest your bequest with
the income only to be used as the board of directors determines; leaving
a specific percentage of the value of your estate; and leaving the
residue of your estate after you have provided for family members and
other beneficiaries. We encourage you to seek advice from an attorney or
financial planner. You may discover that a charitable bequest can
provide tax savings or other benefits. And you may find that you can
make a more significant gift to Mono Lake through your estate than you
ever thought possible in your lifetime.
Individuals that have included the
Mono Lake Committee in their estate plans are recognized in perpetuity
in the Friends of Mono Lake Forever. Each year, the Friends of Mono Lake
Forever are listed in the Mono Lake Committee's annual report (we also
honor requests for anonymity). Please contact us

Memorial
Gifts
We gratefully accept gifts in memory of friends
and family who have passed away. Memorial gifts are
acknowledged in the quarterly Mono Lake Newsletter. We
are still working on secure means of accepting gifts over
the Web, so please contact us.

Gifts
