Nora, Lara and I led a group of 16 YCC volunteers down to lower Mill Creek yesterday afternoon to pull up the Bouncing Bett that has established itself there, and while walking back upstream at the end of the day a juvenile America Dipper flew over us headed upstream. It was about a quarter mile from where the creek pours out into the lake...i'm not sure i've seen Dippers down that low in the summer before.
