Heard the little sneaker-on-a-basketball-court call notes and ran off to investigate. It was a female Black-backed working through a set of burnt Jeffery's about 200 yards south of Bald Mountain Road on 2S42 in the Deadman Summit area. Lots of Pygmy Nuthatches, Western Tanagers, and Mountain Bluebirds in the area, as well as a pair of Williamson's Sapsuckers.
