I am assisting in the search for Steve Fossett who is the world famous aviator lost on Sept 3rd in the area north east or east of Mono lake. If anyone has seen any unusual animal activity condors etc or any unusual levels on sensors anywhere in the area (aircraft trails or smoke in live camera archives. water disruption sensors sound triggered sensors etc.) please contact me at sfvolunteer@vivzizi.com. Here is the flight info we have Take off at around 8:45 am from Flying m ranch at n 38 deg , 36.5 minutes W 119 deg, 00.2 minutes visual sighting around 9 am about 10nm south at 38, 26.5 119 deg, 00.2 minutes then last known location was a radar transponder hit at 17:06:18.33 UTC time or 10:06:18.33 pacific Time. at n 38 deg,22 min, 21.56 sec w 118 min, 32 deg, 53.06 secs at 8000ft altitude apparently heading east (but he could have be turning so it doesn't mean he was bee lining east.) the plane flies at 145 mph cruising and 200 mph max. Best guess is he had 4 hrs of fuel. his plane has a speed of 145 mpg though so a wide area is conceivable including mono lake.
